The beautiful short film about our friend, fiddler and accordion player Dwight Lamb from Iowa, USA is now available online via South Dakota Public Broadcasting, follow this link! Dwight grew up in the little town Moorhead in southwestern Iowa. His grandfather Chris Jerup, had emigrated from Vendsyssel, Denmark back in 1893. Chris was a musician and brought along a large repertoire of Danish dance tunes, which he passed on to his grandson, Dwight. The film tells the story about how Dwight ended up playing this music all his long life. And how the music made its way back to Denmark, enjoy!
